First - and toughest - question you'll need to answer is "Montana or Idaho?" Then, "what river?" Thankfully, there are no wrong answers.
Of course, the smart thing to do would be to take a que from that old bull on the hill in that old joke and "mosey out here and fish 'em all!"
I began guiding in 1997. In 1998, I met the Hyde Driftboat guys, got my first Hyde, and started guiding in Idaho by 1999. While guiding in Idaho, I fished the Madison and Bitterroot Rivers in nearby Montana. By 2000, I was guiding in Montana as well. In 2009, after guiding the great rivers in southwest Montana for 9 years, I became a Montana Licensed Outfitter (Number 9960).
So,you can book your western fly-fishing vacation directly through me. I am excited at the opportunity to handle all your Southwest Montana fly-fishing needs on all the great Montana rivers that I guide -- the Big Hole, Beaverhead, and Madison.
Because we're also guiding the equally great rivers of Eastern Idaho -- Henry's Fork, South Fork, and the Teton; we can help you arrange the Western fly fishing trip you always dreamed about. Finally take the trip you've been dreaming about! Contact me with any questions.
